Add a small amount into the pouch through the opening before you attach it, or after each emptying, then rub the outside of the pouch gently so the liquid spreads across the film. A capful is usually plenty.
This is a pouch product, not a skin product — it goes inside the bag and should not be applied to the peristomal skin or the stoma. If odour is a persistent problem rather than an occasional one, it is worth checking the filter and the seal as well, since escaping odour between changes usually means air is getting out somewhere.
