Lift one edge of the barrier, spray into the gap between the wafer and the skin, wait a moment, then continue peeling while spraying along the line you are lifting. Never pull the barrier off dry and never pull quickly.
After the pouch is off, spray any remaining adhesive on the skin and wipe it away, then wash and dry the area before the new barrier goes on. Removing residue matters — old adhesive left in place stops the next barrier sitting flat.

The spray is easier for reaching under an edge and for larger areas; the wipes are tidier to carry and better for travelling. Many patients keep both.
